Ingrédients:
1 kg de morceaux de poulet (cuisses ou pilons)
400 ml de lait de coco
3 gousses d’ail
1 oignon
1 poivron vert
2 tomates
Quelques brins de thym
1 cuillère à café de curcuma
1 cuillère à café de paprika
Sel et poivre au goût
1 cuillère à soupe d’huile pour cuisson
1 piment rouge (optionnel, pour plus de piquant)
Instructions:
Préparation du poulet : Dans une grande poêle ou une cocotte, chauffez l’huile à feu moyen. Ajoutez les morceaux de poulet et faites-les dorer de chaque côté jusqu’à ce qu’ils soient bien dorés. Réservez.
Préparation des légumes : Émincez l’ail et l’oignon. Coupez le poivron en dés et les tomates en petits morceaux.
Sauté des légumes : Dans la même poêle, ajoutez un peu d’huile si nécessaire. Faites revenir l’ail et l’oignon jusqu’à ce qu’ils soient translucides.
Ajout des légumes : Ajoutez le poivron et les tomates. Faites cuire pendant environ 5 minutes, jusqu’à ce que les légumes soient légèrement ramollis.
Assaisonnement : Incorporez le curcuma, le paprika, le thym, le sel et le poivre. Mélangez bien pour enrober les légumes des épices.
Incorporation du poulet : Remettez les morceaux de poulet dans la poêle. Versez le lait de coco sur le poulet et les légumes. Mélangez bien et portez à ébullition.
Cuisson du plat : Réduisez le feu et laissez mijoter à couvert pendant environ 30-40 minutes, jusqu’à ce que le poulet soit bien cuit et que la sauce ait épaissi.
Finition et service : Si vous aimez le piquant, ajoutez le piment rouge finement émincé en fin de cuisson. Servez chaud avec du riz basmati ou du riz créole.
